My younger brother, Junaid, recently passed away after a brave two year battle with cancer. He was only 33 years old.
Before he died, he passed on an important message: "SHOWER PEOPLE WITH LOVE."
I've set-up this tribute page to honor my brother's message and to help raise funds for cancer research and support services.
Cancer is now the leading cause of early death in Canada and the 2nd leading cause of death in America.
You can help me support the fight against cancer and save lives by making a donation today.
It's easier than ever - just click on the 'make a donation' button to show your support.
Every penny goes to the Canadian Cancer Society which means improved state-of-the-art facilities, better support programs, and research for more effective treatments that will one day help make cancer history.
Thank you,
Sharif Khan

May the "loss" of your brother inspire you to write another great book. May he whisper in your ear and guide you when you are searching for answers. He was a compassionate man full of love towards others and his love still resonates in the hearts of those he knew. He obviously knew the meaning of this hawaiian saying:
"O ke aloha ka mea i ho'ola ai"
Compassion is the healer,
Love the giver of life"
Keep the faith and don't forget there is life after life!
I only met Junaid the one time you had brought him to me for a Reiki healing. He was afraid and uncertain of what was happening to him, but so determined to do whatever he had to. I still remember his eyes as he finally relaxed into the session and turned to me as he could hear his angels whisper words of inspiration to him. I assured him not to be afraid, but instead to listen to their words. And that he did! He is truly an old soul and a wonderful teacher and inspiration to all of us. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to have met him and love him.......the torch of love continues with you now! shine bright, my friend. -- God bless, Rita.
Wow!! He was truly awesome. I am sorry he is gone and endured so much suffering.
Thank you so very much Sharif for sharing your journey with us. I am encouraged.
I am blessed by you and who your brother was in the world.

My condolences on your loss. It is never easy to say good-bye to our loved ones with your "physical eyes".
As one of my favourite Indian saying goes: "When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice",and I am certain that Junaid is now rejoicing in the spiritual plane. God bless you and your family. With warmth, Neda
My sincerest condolences to you and your family. Junaid is a real hero and true example to us all.
So sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. My dad died April 30th and we buried him May 5, 2008. There is great grief and sorrow when our loved ones die but there is also great joy that they are freed from their pain and suffering. I am sure he is in heaven and you can rejoice you were there to say goodbye. I was blessed to do the same for my mom and dad and it is a experience that defies description. You and your family are in my prayers.
take care,
